⌘MT5 Setup

Download and prepare MetaTrader 5

Prepare a supported MetaTrader 5 desktop installation before adding an Expert Advisor.

Getting started
⇧MT5 Setup

Install an EA in MetaTrader 5

Copy your purchased EA file to the correct MT5 folder and make it visible in Navigator.

Installation guide

Follow these steps

  1. Download the EA file from your customer dashboard after your license and download access are available.
  2. In MetaTrader 5, choose File → Open Data Folder.
  3. Open MQL5, then Experts. Copy the supplied EA file into that folder. Do not rename or edit the file unless the product instructions explicitly tell you to.
  4. Return to MT5 and restart the terminal, or right-click Expert Advisors in Navigator and refresh if that option is available.
  5. Find the EA in Navigator. If it is missing, recheck that the file is in the correct terminal's Data Folder.

Frequently asked questions

+Do all EAs use the same settings?

No. Each EA can have different inputs and trading logic. Follow the instructions for your exact product and version.

+Why has my EA not opened a trade yet?

Some strategies wait for specific conditions and may not trade for a while. Check MT5 logs and the product guide before changing settings.

+Can I start on a live account immediately?

We recommend testing the installation and settings on a demo account first. Automated trading involves risk and does not guarantee profits.

+What should I send support if something fails?

Send the EA name, MT5 build, broker symbol, exact error text, and a screenshot with passwords and other sensitive information hidden.

+Do I need to allow the production URL in MT5?

Yes, for EAs that use live website verification or telemetry. Add https://eyong-warlock-ea-platform-production.up.railway.app under Tools → Options → Expert Advisors and allow WebRequest for listed URLs. This permission does not itself authorize a license.

+Will my EA keep opening trades after my subscription expires?

A runtime-licensed EA should block new trades when it detects that authorization has expired or been rejected. Renew the correct license and restore connectivity to verify it again. Existing open positions may not be closed automatically; manage them according to your trading plan.

Important: These are general installation guides. Product-specific parameters can change by EA version. Always follow the current product documentation, test on demo first, and do not assume that any guide guarantees trading performance.
