Use your phone or tablet with an EA

Follow these steps

1. The MT5 mobile apps on Android, iPhone, and iPad can monitor your account, but they cannot run an EA. A Windows tablet may run desktop MT5 if it supports it. Otherwise, run the EA on a Windows computer or VPS and use your phone or tablet to monitor it.
2. A Windows VPS is a remote computer that stays online. You can install desktop MT5 and the EA on it, then connect from your phone or tablet using a remote-desktop app. The VPS is a separate service and may have its own fee.
3. Use the MT5 account and broker server linked to your license. The license is tied to those details; never share your MT5 password.
4. Connect to the Windows VPS, install desktop MT5 from your broker, and sign in to the MT5 account and server linked to your license. In MT5, choose File → Open Data Folder → MQL5 → Experts and place the downloaded .ex5 file there. Restart MT5 or refresh Navigator, attach the EA to the market and timeframe shown on its product page, and enable Algo Trading. Test on demo first.
5. Yes, while desktop MT5 and the EA remain running on the VPS and the VPS has internet. Closing MT5, shutting down the VPS, or losing its internet connection stops the EA.
6. A Windows computer can also run desktop MT5. A VPS is useful when you want MT5 to keep running while your computer is off.
